Adult Craft Night - After Hours

DIY Sugar Scrub

Join us for an after-hours craft nightand learn how to make simple sugar scrubs as a treat for yourself or to give as a hostess or holiday gift.

Adult Book Talk

October 12th | 12:30pm & 6:30pm

The Adult Book Talk group will be meeting in-person on Tuesday, October 12th. The meetings will be held at 12:30pm  and 6:30pm and the group will be discussing Ways to Hide in Winter by Sarah St. Vincent. Copies of the book are now available at the Circulation Desk to check out. 


After-School Programs

Meet Monthly During the School Year

The following programs are offered at the Library during the academic school year.  Registration is required for all programs, as space and resources are limited.


Krafts 4 Kids
Second Wednesday of the Month | 3:30pm
Love to create? Krafts 4 Kids is an afterschool craft program designed for artists and makers in grades K-4, in the company of a parent or caregiver. Create a new project every month as you  explore a new topic or season! All materials will be provided by the library. In-person meetings begin September 8, 2021.


Tinker Tuesdays
Third Tuesday of the Month | 3:30pm
This group meets on the first Tuesday of each month, providing children in grades 2-6 with an opportunity to explore scientific topics through hands-on activities. Test the engineering process by designing, building, and refining your own projects and experiments! A new theme will be explored every month. In-person meetings begin September 21, 2021.


Kids in the Kitchen with Misa Pignataro
Thursdays 9/30, 10/28, 11/18 and 12/16 | 4:00pm
Looking for nutrient-dense food options for your family? Want your children to have fun in the kitchen, while developing life-long kitchen skills? Please join Misa from Misa’s Clean Kitchen in baking simple and delicious food, free of gluten and processed sugar. This series will meet monthly through the fall, with a new seasonal recipe each month. Ingredient lists will be sent out prior to each meeting.

Class will take place via Zoom, and registration is required for access. Please call or visit the library to register! Recommended for preschool and elementary aged children.

You Can Draw This!

Wednesday, October 6th | 4:00pm

This virtual workshop, taught by illustrator Chelsea Kirchoff, focuses on artistic tips, tricks, and techniques that anyone can pick up and use, from the amateur to the master. Over the course of an hour, we will learn drawing games, shading tips and techniques, talk about line and shape, and end by drawing together. Perfect for beginning artists of all ages. No prior experience necessary!
