Library lovers in Bow are invited and encouraged to join the Friends of BFL group. These dedicated volunteers advocate for our library, raise much needed funds, sponsor programs and special events, and host our popular used book sale. Book Sale Donations
Book donations for the Friends of the Library book sale will be accepted on the last Saturday of every month from 10-2 pm at the library. Donations will be reviewed at the time of donation and books that are not accepted will be returned with the donor immediately.
We are looking for books in gently used condition. We do not accept text books, encyclopedias, magazines, or CD/audiotapes.
There are a number of other organizations that accept used books in and around Concord:
Goodwill, 204 Loudon Road, Concord
Salvation Army, 227 Sheep Davis Road, Concord
Concord Public Library at 45 Green Street, Concord (open to the public)
Family OutFITters at 394 Second Street, Manchester (open to the public)
